Week-1 Introduction and Definition of IB

Hi! I am Mridul Pareek and I am an undergraduate student at Drexel University majoring in Civil Engineering.

My background relevant to Intelligent Building includes an understanding of construction process and human inefficiency in construction which allows for greater appreciation for the need and prowess of an efficient and intelligent system for construction. From my undergraduate studies, I am well versed in Science and mathematics required for understanding the concepts of civil engineering.

I expect this class to be informative and interesting without it being too complex or incredibly time consuming.

To me, Intelligent Building is a process of construction using technology which makes the process efficient both physically and financially using self-reliant technology leading to increased human comfort and lower human effort.
