In the next 10 years, our group thinks the following will happen in the construction industry:
- Drones will become more integrated in the construction industry
- Cranes will use senors and AI to operate instead of crane operators
- AI implemented into BIM systems to analyze data about contracts, budgets, contractors, and designs to make smarter and more efficient decisions
- Autonomous trucks delivering materials to construction sites
- Safety glasses with design plans integrated in them
