Group D - Week 2 In Class Discussion

We came to a few conclusions in technological advances in the construction industry. We predict an advance with solar panels that look just like a regular see through glasses which also absorb sunlight to generate energy. This technology allows to combine two functions into one construction material. Also, there can be advances with robot labors in construction sites. This will reduce the labor cost of a construction project and safety concerns in the construction site. Heavy construction materials can be also carried using the robot. Advances in 3D printing can provide more sophisticated and detailed construction materials. We also expect 3D printing of structure component of a building as well. Smart HVAC can be developed utilizing various sensors to analyze temperature, humidity, air quality to condition the home air and temperature quality  to optimum.
